The long silver ribbon that is attached to the reset/open buttons sort of came loose from the main part before i was done disassembling everything. Is this a bad thing or can i just keep disassembling and reattach it later?
The long silver ribbon that's attached to the reset/open buttons sort of came out before i disassembled everything. Is this a bad thing or do i just have to continue disassembly until i find the spot it connects to?

@YRUSAD1 you have to cut the security tape on the seal
could i do this to give my pc the ps2 graphics card and processor and stuff like that that is better on the ps2?
y the fuc would there be heat sinks intead of a fan. Letz see what happens if u dont u dont use cooling fans or heat trays, heat plates or heat trays. Lets see u disconnect the main processer!
@deathrider1432 figure it out your self you lazy bum!!!!
@bug128 Your going have to go threw hell to connect that again! Take it all off!
did you try scoring the tape with the serial number on it?
my top wont come off why ?
@vincentsclone
Yea, mine's pretty disgusting inside right now.
yes for the optical drive firmware and menu settings,The battery maintains the system settings and hour when the ps2 is out of ac power. 3 v Lithium battery CR2032
theres battery in there???
take it apart to fix it, change the battery or install a modchip.
THOSE DAMN THINGS TEAR LIKE KLENEX.
you forgot to include removal of the arc shield..that little clear plastic piece….can be kinda tricky reinstalling it. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE, IF ANYTHING ON THE POWER-BOARD COMES INTO CONTACT WITH METAL IE THE FRAME…ZAPPP WILL BE THE LAST SOUND YOUR PS2 EVER MAKES.
its the little 7pin white port between the two brown ports
